We are committed to empowering organizations and their employees with the knowledge and skills to build, maintain and contribute to positive environments and relationships. We have extensive experience in conducting training, assessments, audits and reviews to meet these objectives.
Training
In addition to being legislatively required, training is an exceptionally proactive measure to reduce workplace issues and help ensure a safe, healthy and respectful workplace.
All of the training that we provide is customized to meet the specific needs of the organization and incorporates the organization’s policies and values. Our approach to training is practical and engaging. All training sessions include an informational component, as well as interactive components, which are in line with best practices in adult learning, in order to maximize the impact of the learning experience.
Sarah Vokey Law has extensive experience in developing and delivering comprehensive training for organizations, including various corporations, firms, governmental and quasi-governmental organizations, and publicly-owned corporations. These are all in addition to the trainings done for privately-held companies.
We develop and deliver training to organizations and their employees with respect to the following subject-matters:

- Workplace investigations
- Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
Sarah Vokey Law has developed various “train the trainer” programs based on the subject-matters above.
We also provide one-on-one coaching to individual employees where there may be a specific need to assist in them understanding their legal obligations in the workplace.
All of our training sessions can be delivered in-person or virtually based on the preference of the organization and trainees.

Environmental Scans, Assessments, Audits & Reviews
Environmental scans, assessments, audits and reviews allow an organization to obtain high-level and specific knowledge about what is happening within, and being experienced by, those within the organization or within a specific team or division. In turn, our work in this area helps to improve healthy organizational environments and cultures.
Sarah Vokey Law regularly conducts environmental scans, assessments, audits and reviews in the workplace and sporting context. Our first step in the process is to work with an organization to understand the key issues and questions to be addressed. Then, we customize our approach to meet the specific needs of each client. Our environmental scans, assessments, audits and reviews result in tangible information, presented in the form of a report, upon which to empower organizations to make decisions in terms of next steps and improving the organization’s culture.
